Nicholas has extensive experience in commercial litigation and arbitration across a range of areas including public procurement; banking and financial services; professional negligence; and construction law. He also has considerable expertise in regulatory and professional discipline matters, including investigations and inquiries; appeals; statutory appeals; and judicial review.
He acts, and has acted, as lead advisor to a wide range of domestic and international corporate clients, including technology companies, government entities, commercial airlines, private equity firms, investment funds, auditors and construction professionals.
He is also an experienced advocate, having appeared regularly before the Superior Courts of Ireland and in domestic and international arbitrations.
Nicholas joined Maples and Calder in 2012. Prior to that, he had practised as a barrister at the Bar of Ireland. He has also practised with another leading Irish corporate law firm.
