Jonathon has extensive experience of international capital markets and corporate finance transactions, and advises on all aspects of banking, fund financing, aircraft financing (including co-investment platforms with private equity investors), securitisation and other structured finance matters. Jonathon's practice includes the formation and maintenance of all types of investments funds, with a particular focus on structured investment funds for fixed-income managers, including CLO equity funds and loan funds. Jonathon also advises on a wide range of corporate and commercial deals, including restructurings, joint ventures and M&A transactions, and debt and equity listings on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange.
Jonathon joined Maples and Calder in 2008 and was elected as a partner in 2014. He previously worked for Slaughter and May in London. Jonathon has been recommended in Legal 500 and has been listed as a leading lawyer by IFLR1000.
