John is a solicitor advocate with broad experience of offshore commercial litigation, contentious insolvency and contentious trust issues. John also has experience in the areas of banking, white collar crime, anti-money laundering, corporate investigations and criminal and civil fraud.
John joined Maples and Calder in 2015. He was previously an associate at another offshore firm in Guernsey and prior to that with Eversheds in London. He had secondments with Foley & Lardner in the USA and with HSBC's Global Banking and Markets litigation team in London. John has been recognised in the Legal 500.
