Andreas is a partner in Maples and Calder's Investment Funds group and is based in the Cayman Islands. With over 20 years of legal experience, he specialises in the structuring, establishment and maintenance of private equity funds, hedge funds, closed-ended investment funds and private investment funds (HNW / family offices). He also advises on all aspects of downstream corporate and commercial law and regularly acts on joint ventures, corporate acquisitions and related due diligence. He works seamlessly with the firm's Corporate and Finance practices and the Maples group's international offices to achieve the most efficient and effective results for the firm's clients.
Andreas joined Maples and Calder in 2004 and worked in the firm's London office until 2006. He was elected as a Partner in 2008. Andreas previously worked for another international law firm in Jersey and before that for Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Australia. Andreas has been recommended in Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.
