Alex is an associate in the Trusts group based in London. Alex advises institutional trustees and private individuals on all areas of British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands trust law and related private wealth issues. He acts for trustees, settlors and founders on the establishment and administration of private and charitable trusts, the establishment of private trust companies and the establishment of Cayman Islands foundation companies. He also acts in respect of estate planning. Alex has co-authored several chapters and articles for leading industry publications, including ICLG, Practical Law, STEP Journal and Trusts & Trustees.
Alex joined Maples and Calder in 2013. He previously worked at Taylor Wessing LLP and trained at Forsters LLP.
