Aaron McGarry has extensive experience in asset and asset backed finance acting for banks, private equity firms, investors and borrowers in relation to trade receivables, invoice discounting and particularly aircraft financing. Aaron has comprehensive experience advising a wide range of market participants including international aircraft operating lessors, multinational banks and financial institutions, investors including private equity houses in particular and worldwide airline operators on the financing of both fixed wing and rotary aircraft.
Aaron joined Maples and Calder in 2017 prior to which he was a partner for a number of years in Dublin at another leading law firm.
Prior to that, Aaron spent 8 years at Mayer Brown in London and New York.
Aaron is listed in Chambers Europe and Chambers Global as an "Up and Coming" lawyer in the asset finance field "…always ensuring that the client gets the necessary result." He is also listed in both Legal 500 as an "Outstanding" practitioner and as a rising star in the ILFR 1000.
