Stuart advises on all aspects of British Virgin Islands securities, corporate and partnership law, including the formation, sale, purchase, listing, licensing and restructuring of regulated and unregulated vehicles, joint venture arrangements and corporate governance issues. He has a particular focus on advising managers and institutional investors on all aspects of investment funds including regulatory areas such as CRS, FATCA and similar regimes.
Stuart joined Maples and Calder in 2017 having previously worked in the corporate and investment funds team of Paul Hastings LLP in London and in the asset management and investment funds team at William Fry in Dublin. He began his career at the Bar of Ireland practising commercial matters.
