Sarah advises on a range of domestic and cross-border banking and finance transactions. Sarah's expertise includes advising banks and borrowers in connection with corporate debt facilities, acquisition financing, real estate financing (investment and development) and restructurings. She also has particular expertise in real estate financing involving QIAIF structures. Sarah has also acted on a number of loan portfolio sales.
Sarah was elected as a partner in 2016. Prior to joining Maples and Calder, Sarah worked in the banking team at Allen & Overy in London and Addleshaw Goddard in Manchester.
Legal 500 Rankings 2017 describe the 'very proactive' Maples and Calder team which includes 'the excellent Sarah Francis', whose recent work includes advising AIB on real estate financings.
