Michael is a member of the Corporate group in the Cayman Islands office. His areas of practice include the formation and restructuring of all types of investment funds including hedge funds, private equity funds and other corporate, commercial and finance transactions such as restructurings and reorganisations. He also advises on general regulatory aspects of Cayman Islands law.
Michael joined Maples and Calder as an associate in 2013. He previously worked with another Cayman Islands law firm gaining experience in many practice areas including investment funds, banking and finance, corporate and commercial and other contentious and non-contentious matters.

Michael is a member of the Caymanian Bar Association and the Cayman Islands Law Society. In addition, Michael is the President of the Cayman Islands Amateur Swimming Association.
