Michael's expertise covers all aspects of corporate and securities law including IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and a broad range of banking, structured finance and capital markets transactions. Michael's practice includes a particular focus on the energy industry and public company listings and corporate governance.
Michael joined Maples and Calder in 2010 and was elected as a partner in 2014. He began his career with Travers Smith in London before practising as an attorney at another Cayman Islands based law firm from 2002. Prior to joining Maples and Calder, he practised offshore law in Jersey, Channel Islands for five years, latterly as a partner at an international law firm. Michael has been recommended in Legal 500.
