Greg specialises in the creation and dynamic structuring of private equity funds. He also works closely with hedge fund managers and their onshore counsel, consulting on the creation of new fund structures and generating bespoke solutions to challenges and opportunities arising in the hedge funds space. Greg represents large US and international financial institutions and investment managers across the spectrum, from established drivers of private equity and hedge funds to boutique and start-up investment managers.
Greg joined Maples and Calder in 2012 and was elected as a partner in 2015. He was previously a senior associate at another international law firm in the Cayman Islands, and prior to that worked as an associate at Ozannes in the Channel Islands. Greg draws from a breadth of offshore legal experience in private equity, hedge funds, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.
