Dudley is head of the Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group in Dublin and is a member of the Dublin Office Management Committee. He has practised as a commercial litigator for over 25 years and has particular experience in the areas of financial services disputes, professional negligence, insolvency and insurance. He is an expert in Alternative Dispute Resolution and has wide ranging experience of arbitration, mediation, conciliation, expert determination and adjudication. He originally qualified and practised as a barrister where he gained significant experience in the field of white collar crime.
Dudley joined Maples and Calder in 2009. He was previously a senior partner in a large Irish commercial law firm. Prior to that, he worked in London as a partner in a City law firm. He originally qualified and practised as a barrister. He has been recommended by a number of legal directories including IFLR 1000, Who's Who Legal, Legal 500, PLC Which Lawyer?, Legal Media Group Expert Guides, Legal Experts and Chambers Europe.
