Managed Accounts - Has Their Time Come?
As investors look for more control and transparency over their investment capital, managed accounts may become increasingly popular where the size of the capital contribution justifies the set-up and maintenance fees of a bespoke fund. Nick Butcher describes the use of a managed account as a standalone single investor fund and the advantages this structure brings to investors. He also highlights the associated risk factors of using a simple managed account as opposed to a standalone fund.
