We frequently provide advice and represent employers and senior employees in all disputes arising out of the employment relationship including claims in the Employment Appeals Tribunal, the Equality Authority or the High Court. In addition our team excels in dealing with complex corporate and commercial disputes. We regularly act for and against investors, funds, directors, investment managers, service providers, banks and insurance companies in a wide range of contract and tort claims. Our team performs its own advocacy, where possible and appropriate, thereby minimising the need for external counsel.
Often our litigation strategies are based on first having identified the legal issues relevant to the dispute – such as directors' duties, the meaning and effect of Articles of Association and shareholder agreements, or other contractual provisions. We also provide litigation advice and input in relation to drafting documents and implementing commercial strategies designed to avoid complex litigation.
