Zhao Rong specialises in high value, multi-jurisdictional disputes. He regularly advises and represents Chinese enterprises' interests in offshore commercial litigation.
Zhao Rong joined Maples and Calder (Hong Kong) LLP in 2017. He was previously a senior associate at DLA Piper Hong Kong and, before that, worked at other international law firms in Hong Kong. He completed his pupillage at Rajah & Tann in Singapore and joined its Shipping and International Trade Department on qualification in 2006 where he practised as a disputes lawyer.
