Nollaig is head of the Finance group and co-head of the Restructuring group in Maples and Calder's Dublin office. He is also a member of the Dublin office Management Committee. Nollaig specialises in banking and capital markets, in particular restructuring and distressed sales, structured and leveraged finance, and hybrid capital markets.
Nollaig joined Maples and Calder in 2008. Previously, he was a senior partner with a large Irish corporate law firm. Nollaig spent a number of years in London at Clifford Chance and Merrill Lynch.
Nollaig has recently been listed as a Tier 1 'Market leader' in IFLR 1000 2018. He has also been ranked as a Tier 1 lawyer in Chambers and Partners Global and Legal 500 and has recently been highly recommended in Who's Who Legal: Capital Markets 2018 and Who's Who Legal: Banking 2018. Nollaig was also recognised in Best Lawyers 2018 under 'The Best Lawyers in Ireland' for his work in Banking and Finance Law and Capital Markets Law.
Nollaig is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin.
