Maxine is a member of the Maples and Calder Trusts team in the Cayman Islands. Maxine specialises in advising the world's leading banks and trust companies and private individuals on the establishment and ongoing administration of Cayman Islands trusts, including unit trusts, pension and employee benefit trusts and charitable trusts. Maxine is a leader in the use of private trust companies and all matters pertaining to licensing, registration and operation of private trust companies. She also regularly advises clients on wills and the administration of estates. Maxine provides training for corporate trustees on practical trusts management.
Maxine joined the Trusts team of Maples and Calder in 2004. Maxine has been described as "a key associate" for trusts and private client work in Legal 500.

Maxine is a member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners (STEP) Council in the Cayman Islands, the Legislative Sub-Committee of STEP in the Cayman Islands, the STEP Caribbean Conference Steering Committee, the Caribbean and Latin America Regional Committee of STEP. Maxine is also Chair of the Public Policy Committee of the Caribbean and Latin America Regional Committee of STEP and Chair of the STEP Caribbean Conference 2017.
