Jo specialises in the establishment and operation of offshore investment funds. She has a broad range of hedge fund, private equity fund and investment platform clients. Jo's litigation background combined with her investment fund experience gives her a unique perspective on issues associated with distressed investment funds and she has advised extensively on the reorganisation of such funds.
Jo joined Maples and Calder in 2007. Prior to joining Maples and Calder, Jo established a successful practice at the Commercial Bar in London where she was consistently ranked by legal directories as a leading barrister in her field. Jo has spoken at a number of industry conferences and regularly contributes to publications on fund related matters. She was profiled by the Hedge Fund Journal in 2015 as one of 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds and has been ranked by IFLR 1000 and Who's Who Legal.
