Caitriona advises on the establishment, authorisation and maintenance of Irish regulated funds including UCITS, alternative investment funds (authorised pursuant to AIFMD) and other specialised fund products. She also advises service providers to such funds including administrators, depositaries and investment managers (particularly those investment managers seeking to raise capital from European investors). Caitriona spent a number of years in Maples and Calder's Hong Kong office, providing Irish funds solutions to the firm's Asian client base and speaking regularly at industry events regarding European fund products.
Caitriona joined Maples and Calder in Dublin in 2012, following a number of years with a leading Irish financial services law firm.
