Arabella is a partner in Maples and Calder's British Virgin Islands office, where she is head of the BVI litigation and trusts practice groups. Arabella previously served as the Managing Partner of the BVI office for six years. She specialises in complex international commercial litigation, including insolvency, distressed funds, shareholder issues, asset tracing, trust disputes, insurance and reinsurance, professional negligence and contractual claims. She has considerable arbitration and mediation experience and is a solicitor-advocate. Arabella also advises on non-contentious trusts matters.
Arabella joined Maples and Calder in 2006 and was elected as a partner in 2007. She was previously Counsel at an international law firm in Bermuda and before that, worked for Linklaters in London. She began her career at the English Bar. Arabella has been recommended in Chambers Global, Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal. She has also been listed as a leading lawyer in The Citywealth Offshore Leaders List, as well as the IFC Power Women Top 200.

Arabella is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators for which she is Chairman of the BVI chapter. Arabella is a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS), a Trustee of the Cedar International School in Tortola and served as President of the BVI Bar Association from 2013 to 2015.
