Kieran is global head of the BVI law practice and co-head of the Latin American practice group. Kieran practises both Cayman Islands and BVI law, and advises on a variety of investment funds, structured finance and general corporate matters. He provides all client services on a bilingual Spanish/English basis, and regularly advises clients both originating from Latin America and investing into the Latin American region.

Kieran joined Maples and Calder in 2002 and was elected as a partner in 2006. He previously worked for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Madrid and prior to that, for Clifford Chance and Maclay Murray & Spens. Kieran is recommended in Chambers Global, Latin Lawyer 250, Who's Who Legal, IFLR1000, PLC Which? Lawyer and Legal500 for his work on Latin American transactions.
