James is a member of the Corporate team in the Cayman Islands. His areas of practice include advising on the formation of hedge funds and private equity funds, as well as general corporate transactions. James also advises on FATCA and the OECD Common Reporting Standard.
Prior to joining Maples and Calder in 2015, James acted as in-house counsel for an investment fund manager based in London, having previously worked for Pinsent Masons LLP and in the corporate practice of a City of London law firm.
