Diarmuid is head of the Commercial Property group in Maples and advises on all types of commercial property transactions. He has extensive experience in the areas of portfolio acquisition and disposal as well as commercial landlord and tenant. Diarmuid also specialises in advising banks and insolvency practitioners on all aspects of property issues that arise in an insolvency/restructuring scenario.
Diarmuid joined Maples and Calder in 2012 having previously worked for a large domestic Irish law firm. Prior to that, Diarmuid qualified as an accountant in 1997 and spent several years working for one of Ireland’s leading multinationals before qualifying as a solicitor in 2004.
