Thomas specialises in commercial dispute resolution, with a particular focus on the area of construction law. Thomas is a dual qualified Solicitor and Chartered Quantity Surveyor, and his practical experience ensures he has a good grasp of both the legal and technical issues. As such, he provides both strategic and detailed legal advice.
He has a particular focus on construction-related claims, acting on matters involving prolongation claims for time and quantum, sub-contractor disputes, professional negligence and property damage claims.
Thomas joined Maples and Calder in 2014 from a large professional quantity surveying firm based in Dublin. Prior to qualifying as a Solicitor, he worked as a Quantity Surveyor for 7 years in the construction industry.
