Mariana is a member of the Maples and Calder Corporate team and the Latin America practice group. Born in Brazil and educated in Canada, Mariana speaks fluent Portuguese and English. Mariana advises on all aspects of corporate work, mutual funds, private equity funds and corporate finance, structured finance and capital market transactions. As part of the Latin America practice group, Mariana works with clients originating from Latin America as well as those investing into the region.
Mariana joined Maples and Calder in 2013. She previously operated her own firm where she worked as a litigator in Toronto, Canada.
