Nick specialises in all aspects of investment funds, advising an international client base, with a particular focus on advising clients who wish to target the Japanese market. He is recognised by Legal 500 Asia Pacific as a standout funds specialist whose "strength lies in his ability to apply legal principles to some of the most complex, novel and challenging commercial issues", as well as having an "in-depth knowledge" of the Japanese market.
Nick joined Maples and Calder in 2007. He previously worked for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and for Norton Rose in London and Hong Kong including a secondment to Société Générale in London. Nick has been ranked as a leading lawyer in IFLR1000.
