Kaneesa is a member of the Finance group and specialises in banking, fund financing and structured finance transactions. Her area of practice also includes general corporate and commercial matters. She also has experience in insurance and other alternative risk transfer work.
Kaneesa is a Maples and Calder scholarship recipient and joined the firm in 2011 as an articled clerk. She joined the Finance group upon her admission as an attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands in 2013.

Kaneesa is a member of the Caymanian Bar Association and the Cayman Islands Law Society. She is also a member of the Women's International Shipping and Trading Association, the Business and Professional Women's Club, 100 Women in Hedge Funds and the National Trust for the Cayman Islands.
