Dan is an associate in Maples and Calder's Investment Funds group in Hong Kong, specialising in advising on the formation and on-going legal obligations of private equity funds, hedge funds and Japanese unit trusts. He has experience advising a broad range of fund clients with a wide range of investment strategies from long-only funds to complex leveraged structures. Prior to joining Maples and Calder, Dan gained experience advising on the establishment, authorisation and operation of European (Irish) regulated fund structures for retail (UCITS) and professional investors.
Dan joined Maples and Calder in 2014. He previously worked in the Asset Management and Investment Funds group at William Fry in Dublin, where he trained as a solicitor.
