Arabella is managing partner of Maples and Calder's BVI office, and head of the BVI litigation and trusts practice groups. She specialises in complex international commercial litigation, including insolvency, distressed funds, shareholder issues, asset tracing, trust disputes, insurance and reinsurance, professional negligence and contractual claims. She has considerable arbitration and mediation experience and is a solicitor-advocate. Arabella also advises on non-contentious trusts matters.
Professional Background
Arabella joined Maples and Calder in 2006 and was elected as a partner in 2007. She was previously Counsel at an international law firm in Bermuda and before that, worked for Linklaters in London. She began her career at the English Bar. Arabella is recommended by Chambers Global, Legal500 and the PLC Which Lawyer? Yearbook. She is also listed as a leading lawyer in The Citywealth Offshore Leaders List.
