Arabella specialises in complex international commercial litigation, including insolvency, distressed funds, shareholder issues, asset tracing, trust disputes, insurance and reinsurance, professional negligence and contractual claims. She has considerable arbitration and mediation experience and is a solicitor-advocate. Arabella also advises on non-contentious trusts matters. Arabella is the Managing Partner of Maples BVI, and the head of the BVI litigation and trusts practice groups.
Professional Background
Arabella joined Maples and Calder in 2006 and was made partner in 2007. She was previously Counsel at Appleby in Bermuda and before that, worked for Linklaters in London. She began her career at the English Bar. Arabella is recommended by Chambers Global, Legal 500 and the PLC Which Lawyer? Yearbook. She is also listed as a leading lawyer in The Citywealth Offshore Leaders List.
