Food, Agri-business and Life Sciences Specialist Joins Maples and Calder Dublin

Dublin | 7 June 2012: The Irish office of international law firm Maples and Calder (“Maples”) is pleased to announce that leading food, agri-business and life sciences specialist, Maree Gallagher, has joined its Corporate Group as ‘Of Counsel’. 

Maree’s appointment is one of a number of recent senior hires by Maples and enhances the strength and depth of the firm’s food, agri-business and life sciences practice.  

Maree, a recognised expert in food, agri-business and life sciences law, was formerly Head of Food and Pharmaceutical Law at a large Irish corporate law firm prior to establishing her own specialist practice. Maree also spent a number of years in Brussels advising clients on EU and Irish regulatory issues. 

Maree Gallagher said: “The opportunities for the international growth and development of Ireland’s food and agriculture sectors are significant.
